Basic Setup
----------- Charger Setup ------------------
To start with Download the latest version of the Bot,
Extract it to a folder, doesnt really matter on location just put it somewere u can find it in your file system.
Buy you Charger Card online.
Once u have your Bot time card enter the KTZ folder u extracted from the download and locate the Charger.exe or just "charger" and run it.

-- Registering Your Account ---
The top box is a readout to let u know whats happening in communication with the main KTZ server.
Below are 2 Tabs "Charge" and "Days Transfer"
We will start with the basic Charge,
To get you setup for the first time usage u need to Register an account.
In the box named "Register"
KTZ Account - is the name u choose for your account name (choose one)
KTZ Password - this is the KTZ login pass to match the above account name.
The Email box is mearly incase the Developer needs to match ur details or email you, if your having trouble Registering an account they using a different type of email address ie, not ya Hotmail one use Yahoo or Gmail ect.
Once you have filled in the 4 boxs press the register button and your should receive a message in the Top section stating Account Registered Successfuly.
|
|
Quote:
|
-- Adding Time to Your Account ---
Your now ready to add time to your account.
So we move the second section down called "Charge"
Fill in your KTZ account as the one u chose in the register field,
Your KTZ card and password should have been emailed too you once u purchased a time card so fill in those and click the "Charge" Button.
Again a message in the top box should confirm u have charged your account with x amount of time.
|
The left hand box named "Password" is for changing your KTZ account password if needed for security. Simply fill in the Account u created along with the Old and new passwords the again click the charge button to update your info.
|
Quote:
|
-- Transforming Your Account ---
The bottom box called "Transform" is for changing the state of your points on your account.
When u buy a standard card you get 30 point.
1 point = 24 hours of bot time.
So 30 points = 30 x 24 hours - Once month.
The idea with the transform is more for constant botters or gold sellers.
When u transform your account it splits your point into
24 points are taken but u can bot for 1 month in real time constant.
6 points remain to be used on either another account using the "days tranfers" or for when your month is up.
If you dont transform your account when u login you use up 1 point
u then have 24 hours of bot time untill u need to use another point.
So for instance u play for 5 hours leaving 19 hours remaining,
that time will not be used untill the next time u login, so if u go away for the weekend your bot time isnt being used up. Its only worth transforming if u plan to use your bot pretty much 24/7 for the whole month.
|
"Days Transfer" this is used to transfer bot points from one bot account to another, when u transform your account the month time is bound to your ingame account so u can only bot with that specific account.
Again this is one reason the transform is mainly aimed at gold farmers.

----------- In Game Setup ---------------
Now assuming you got your account registered an charged ok
In your folder were u extracted the bot locate the bot launcher, KTZAionmain
You must start KTZ main and load before u start Aion !
Once u started KTZ main app, u have 2 buttons, "Load" and "Unload".
"load" is used before u start Aion and "Unload" is used after u exit Aion.
When u click "Load" it will normaly state "Free file Failed" this is because its checking too see if it is alreads loaded, it should then come up Successfull.
You can now start Aion.
|
Quote:
|
-- Login to Your Account ---
Once Aion is started login to your chosen character, then use the "home" key to bring up the bot pannel, its advised to work in "Windowed" mode while u get used to using the bot and aion together.
On the Bot pannel u should have a login box, this is were u type in the account name and password that u created in the bot charger program.
On the left of the bot pannel is a Tab called "Output" select this tab to see the readout from the bots info to see ther server connection info.
The "Output" Tab gives u a readout of what the bot is doing,
so when u begin it gives login info, but it also shows when u begin trainning or start assist mode, this is usefull for checking the state of the bot if u ever find it appears to be not responding ect.
If all is well it will state KTZ server connected then list your account points and remaining time.
|
You now need to put in your basic setup.
This is done using the tabs on the right.
The first Tab to start is the "Skills" tab,
On the left is a list of all your available skills,
u can use refresh button at the top to make sure they are displayed correctly.
|
Quote:
|
-- Sorting Your Skills ---
The Boxes on the Right are your chosen skills to use in order,
the order they are in the list is the preference order the bot will use the skills.
"First Skill" - These are skills the bot will use when he pulls the mob, they are used once at the start of the fight then not again, good use for this would be a "root" skill or Dots that dont wont to be recast once the mob has lost an amount of HP.
"Attack Skills" - These are your main attacks, no need to add in chains just put in the starting skills of the chains or plain attack skills.
"Assist Skills" - This tab relates to Team botting, for bots like healers to assist other team memeber. But this can also be used for keeping up buffs in solo mode, The skills in this box are cast by the bot when ever the effect has ended and the skill is available to use.
"Protect Skills" - These are the skills the bot can use to keep you alive heals ect.
"Disable Skills" - Only add skills to this that u completly dont want the bot to use in any circumstance.
"Chain Skills" - In this box u can put any skills that are not first skill but chain casts, this can be second chain and third or forth ect, Again the order from top to bottom they appear is the order of preference the bot will use the skills in, so if u really want to make sure it uses one skill over another put it higher up the list or even try putting it in twice for extra reference.
|
Next goto the "Protection Tab"
This were u can setup the Bots health regen options.
Working from the Top down.
|
Quote:
|
-- Protection Setup ---
Hp less then % sit on floor till Hp is greater than %
So self explanitory but when the bot finishes the fight, if his health is below the first amount he sits on the floor till his Hp is above the second amount.
Second one is same as Hp but for MP :P
The Third and fourth slots are again for when the bot finishes fighting but these are for items or spells he can use to aid his regen.
So after fight if HP < 50% use Regular Life Serum.
The remaining boxes below work exactly the same as described above but instead they are used During a fight to help the bot, so input in the top section scrolls and pots, and the bottom half is Heal spells and MP gains ect.
U can use the On Hp use DP to trigger your DP spell if its health relational or instead just set your DP spell to one of the other triggers were its best to use.
At the bottom of the Protection Tab is 4 tick boxes.
These are to alert the user if something happends, if they are ticked u will be alerted with an audio sound, different for each option.
IE if Enemy appears is ticked, when ever an opposing faction enters ur radar range u will hear music being played by the bot, same for a person whispering u ect.
|
Next setup the "Reycycle" Tab.
This tab is what the bot does when its back in a city or at the obylisk.
Usually this occurs after the bots death.
Workin from the Top down. Tickboxes.
|
Quote:
|
-- Recycle Setup ---
"Inv Full Back" - this tells the bot to use your return spell when your inventory becomes full.
"Die Back" - means the bot will rez u when dead, not just leave ur coarpse in the field.
"Repair Exp" - If the bot dies and "Die back" is ticked, once it rezez at Oblyisk the bot will goto the soul healer and buy back your Exp for you.
"Wait Weak" - This simply means if you have Rez sickness to sit on the floor till it has gone and your HP is restored.
--
The next line is to get the bot to keep him self stocked on items
Such as in the image, if its ticked then when "Odella" < "2" the bot will use return to goto vendor for you.
Same again, If "Arrows" for a ranger are less than < "50" return to buy more.
Using the next line u can set the bot to log out after a certain amount of time or if it dies more than a certain amount of times, ie 120 minutes (2 hours) or if deaths > 2.
Which ever comes first the bot will log out .
--
"Dont Attack mob when running script" - this box means during your death runs back, using your scripts the bot will not attack and instead attempt to keep running, this can be usefull if it gets random agro on the death run and u dont want it to stop and attack. Be warned this can lead to death as the bot may become trapped by the mobs and die.
"Run City Script" - This means when the bot returns he carries out any of the above tasks.
If u unselect this option it will over ride the above recylce options incase u dont want him to sell items and stock up ect.
--
The bottom box on the Recycle tab is used to tell the bot what you would like him to resupply at the trader.
In my image it shows he is to purchase upto 100 Greater Odella powder everytime he visits the trader.
This doent mean he will buy 100 everytime, it means he will make sure he has 100, so if he has 80 when he gets to the trader he will purchase 20 more to stock himself up.

--------- The "Fight" Setup -------
This is were you can configure the waypoints for the bot and the style of fighting he uses.
|
Quote:
|
-- Fight Tab ---
Start from Top Left,
"Fight" drop down menu chooses the bots priority when out in the field. you can set the bot to...
"Fight" - This means the bot will only attack target in its way point and will ignore gather spots.
"Collect" - This means the bot will ignore mobs (unless it has agro) and just collect gather points on its waypoint.
"Fight & Collect" - The bot will fight first but when no mobs are detected in its radius it will gather available items instead.
"Collect & Fight" - The bot will gather everything in its waypoint Radius then begin to attack mobs.
--
The next drop down box is "Long" and "short" for the range style of your characters attacks.
Below you can also set the initial range that the bot will try to cast the spells from so long distance 25 meters.
"Attack Player" is as it states, when an oposing faction members attacks the bot, it will fight back.
"Manual Attack" is for you basic weapon swing, casters dont usualy attack with weapons as there are at range but this will make the bot go up close and weapon swing when spells have downtime due to cooldowns.
"Dont Rob Monster" is basically kill stealing, tick it to tell the bot to not kill steal were possible.
"Use Power shard" again simply tells the bot he is allowed to use your power shards on melee attacks.
"Auto Detoxify" unclear as yet to if it works, (bot description states ability to judge pot use based on using bigger or smaller pots) but the detox sounds more like using dispell or cure to remove abnormal conditions, neither seem to be affective in my experience as yet.
"White Gold Mission" - This is were u can specify the bot to complete repeatable quests using the below drop down box to select the correct side and level quest.
|
Now if you have made it this far you have pretty much got all the basics settings for the bot setup.
You now need to start work on waypoint. Waypointing is very simple and you can save a multitude of scripts so you can easily swap spots when ever you feel like grinding a different area.
Now to start with, we will setup the Death waypoints first, these are the waypoints used by the bot to return from the Obylisk to the grind spot u choose.
(before you do this it is always best to scout your routes, know were your going before you begin to set the bot)
|
Quote:
|
-- Death Run Script ---
So to setup your first death run script.
1. Stand near the obylisk for which you have bound your soul.
(doesnt have to be right next too it but some were near were u spawn after death)
2. In the control section at the bottom, click "Record" button.
(the bot will now begin to record your movments into a waypoint file.)
3. Run from the Obylisk to your grind spot.
(Just run normally, avoid rocks and trees, and avoid falling distances if possible)
(dont run like a bot just run normally it will record the route very precicly so it doesnt look like a bot)
4. When u arrive at your grind spot, stop somewere short of the mobs on path, somewere safe.
Then in the bot window at the bottom were the "Record" button was u can now click the "Stop" button.
(You now need to save the waypoints you just recorded !_)
5. At the Top right of the "Fight" tab there is a section called scripts.
(This is were all your death runs are saved and selected.)
(For your first script you need to save it, so next to the "save" input a name for your death run script)
(its usually best to name your scripts for ease in future so call it something like, Morhiem to Mosbears)
(then u know that script will run you back from Morhiem Obylisk to the mosbears.)
6. Once you have named it, click the "Save" button.
Now to make sure its saved switch to the "Output" tab and confirm it says "Script saved Successful".
(If you try to save a script with a name that already exists it wont save !)
(once as script is created it is in use by the bot,)
(you can only edit the script names once the bot has been closed and is no longer runing)
(so this must be done manually in the bot folders using the file system.)
Your script should now be saved for usage.
7. In the Script drop down box select the script you just created then in the control options at the bottom click "load" to let the bot know this is the death run script to be used.
|
|
Quote:
|
-- Center Waypoints ---
Now assuming you just created that and it saved ok you should be at the grind spot you chose to death run too.
So next we need to create the waypoints the bot will grind or gather on.
In the "Fight" tab the box bottom left is were we will list our waypoint,
The buttons to the right of the the box are used to manipulate the waypoints.
When it comes to adding waypoints there are various different methods too use but ill give you a basic setup and you can discover ways to better it or improve your botting.
Botting in Red mob area or pre emtive stike mobs is always hard as you bot doesnt avoid other mobs inorder to kill the mob your attacking, so to start off make sure you setting this up on white mobs or none aggresive mobs.
Find an area clear of obsticals and stand in a central area with the mobs around you.
Now in the bot window, you can see the black map, which displays you centraly and shows red dots and white dots for mobs and Pink dots for gather points.
Once you stood with mobs around you, goto the "Fight" Tab then bottom right is a box called "Radius".
this is the radius of the waypoint your adding. The bot will always move to the center of the waypoint then attack or gather all items with in the Radius of that waypoint.
So set "Radius" to 30 to start with, then below Radius click the "Add" button.
you should now see a white circle appear on the Bot map showing the waypoint and its radius.
Make sure mobs are in the circle then you can be sure the bot will have something to attack.
If you want to make the Radius bigger or smaller select the waypoint, change the "Radius" then click the modify Radius botton below to increase or decrease the radius.
The other 2 buttons are "Del" and "Ins" quite simply Delete the waypoint or Insert a waypoint inbetween the ones you have already placed.
Now assuming you have Put in one waypoint with a decent radius to encompase some mobs,
we now need to save your waypoint file for future use.
This is done the same way you did you Death Run Scripts but instead of Scripts these waypoints are your Centers.
the Box Top right below Scripts is called "Center"
You again need to type the name you wish to save it as, so again call it something so you can easily remeber were the waypoints are for so say "Morhiem Mosbears Lv 25" to match the Death run scripts name.
Then click save and check the output tab to make sure it states "Center Saved Correctly".
When saving center waypoints unlike death run scripts you can resave with the same name and overwrite the script once you have adjusted it.
Again same as after your Script setup,
you need to select your Death run "Script"
and
Select you waypoints to "Center" on after running back
then at the bottom Click "load" then "refresh" the bot.
You are now ready to start "trainning".
Other options to do with your Hunting Center waypoints are above the Radius.
U can chose Complex map or simple map, these relate to the type of waypoints used.
Complex takes into acount hight maps and simple just works on a x y basis.
Is best to leave this set to complex for best performance.
Below is also the option for how the bot navigates his waypoints. Circular or Linier.
Circular would be the bot moves waypoint 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 then back to 1 then 2 -3 -4 ect in a circle
Linier is the bot can move either way through the list ie
From 1 - 2 then he can go back to 1 or continue to 3, then from 3 can goto 4 or back to 2 depending on were the best choice for mobs are.
"Change Safe Area" this sets the waypoint for the bot as a "Safe" waypoint. in my experience it doesnt seem to make much difference having safe points but experiment and see for your self
|
|
Quote:
|
-- Set Bot Running ---
Once you have the above Scripts and Centers setup your ready to begin trainning.
Click the button on the controls for Tranning or use the ingame button "Insert"
The bot should first cast its buffs then move to the center of the waypoint you added.
It will then select a mob in the radius of the waypoint and begin its attack sequence.
"First" Skills then "Attacks"
Once no mobs or gathers (depened on what you set it too) it will move onto the next waypoint.
You can set a string of waypoints for the bot if mobs are scarse
But a good method if you can find a field with a large open area with lots of mobs,
is to just set one giant waypoint radius and let the bot just free roam around all the mobs,
by the time it has killed the last one, the first ones will be spawning again so the bot will always
have something to hunt.
When setting gather runs, u can set lots of small waypoints in a string using small radius to make sure the bot only moves to gather points and picks up the exact thing you need it too, but u must remember the bot moves from waypoint to waypoint so u need to set waypoints so he can move with out running into obsticals.
Once you have your setup.
Use return to check your death run is working, then leave him running
|
---
"Air Collect" - this referes to Aether flight gathering.
you can set the time in the Air, the time to Rest, and any items or pots he can use to boost his flight time.

-- Items Monsters and Gathering ---
|
Quote:
|
-- "Item" "Monster" and "Collection" ---
These relate to how the bot responds to the various ingame actions.
So for "Items".
here u can setup what items the bot sells when u run city scripts
u can also choose what the bot picks up and drops or what it collects and places in your warehouse for you.
At the bottom is a box called refresh list, this will list all the items u have on you to make it easier to find the item your wanting to adjust the action for.
"Monster" and "Collection" work very much the same but with what to kill or not kill and what to collect or not collect. You can also set mobs or gathers as a priority to make the bot go for them before anything else in range.
|
|
Quote:
|
-- Special Function ---
"Special Function" - this is basically game hax to speed up your movment and to remove the animations for skills to increase the speed of your attacks. I would not advise using these as it is almost garunteed to be more detectable by other people ingame.
|
|
Quote:
|
-- Backing Up your Bot Settings ! ---
Go into your KTZ Folder, were u extracted the bot files too.
Copy the 4 folders
Data
Script
Item
Center
Copy them and paste into a different Folder.
Those 4 folders contain all your settings and waypoints.
Another fast way to do this regulary, as and when u change settings, is to keep a batch file to do it for you.
|
|
Quote:
|
-- Creating a Batch File ---
First on your desktop create a new text file.
edit the text file using notepad
You should enter text like below but changing the folder paths to point to your locations.
|
Quote:
|
copy c:\AionKTZbot\Data\*.* c:\KTZBackup\Data\*.*
copy c:\AionKTZbot\Script\*.* c:\KTZBackup\Script\*.*
copy c:\AionKTZbot\Center\*.* c:\KTZBackup\Center\*.*
copy c:\AionKTZbot\Item\*.* c:\KTZBackup\Item\*.*
|
Save the file then rename the text file from "newfile.txt" to "Bot.bat"
Now when ever you double click the bot.bat it will copy your settings from the bot folder to your backup folder
|
|
Quote:
|
-- Basic Errors ---
1. Repair Aion
2. Redownload latest KTZ version on the main page
3. Start and LOAD KTZ BEFORE Aion !
4. READ the rest of the GUIDE from the start Before Posting !
"To remove SPI Filter,
Stop the bot and unload,
Restart windows to remove DLL from memory
Once rebooted delete the file."
